Action Mesothelioma Day is a day dedicated to raising awareness about Mesothelioma and supporting those affected by the disease. The day also serves to remember those who have lost their lives to Mesothelioma. This year Asbestos Action has chosen to focus purely on this sentiment. We are having a small get together at Verdant Works, a restored Jute Mill based in Dundee. We will be providing space for clients and families, to connect, share experiences and find support. We will remember those loved and lost, families left behind, those fighting their personal battle and thinking of those sadly yet to be diagnosed.
Our Ambassador, Brian Cox CBE, shares theses sentiments having lost close friends to Mesothelioma. In support of AMD he sent us this personal message as he was sadly unable to attend our event in person due to work commitments.
