Michelle Angela Rodger

Michelle Angela Rodger, married with 2 boys worked as a medical receptionist for 10 years.  Started work at Alloa Academy in 2009 supporting learners with ASN (additional support needs) I had an interest in this particular field.

In 2011 I moved into EASN (extended additional support needs) supporting learners with mild/moderate to severe/complex needs in education. 

 

With a passion for communication, I started learning Makaton, my dream was to become a tutor, to teach and share my passion with others.  September 2021 I qualified as a Makaton tutor and fulfilled my passion to teach and spread awareness of the Makaton communication programme.

 

Currently studying level 2 BSL (British Sign Language) hoping to progress as far as I can and put my skills into practice.
